Material & finish

The board is made of 3 mm birch plywood. It is thin enough to be light in the hand, yet very sturdy and robust in daily use. Two coats of water-based clear varnish protect the surface and make it resistant to everyday marks. Every ring binder board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is neatly finished and has rounded corners. Wood is a natural material: brightness, grain and small knots vary from board to board. That makes every piece unique.

How to use your ring binder board

Good to know about the ring binder mechanism

The 80 mm ring spacing of the 2-ring and 4-ring A4 mechanisms matches the standard hole punching in Germany. For you, this means: every sheet from a normal office hole punch fits straight onto the board. You can swap menus, price lists and notes yourself at any time, without any accessories.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear varnish, a barely damp cloth is enough to wipe the board. Avoid harsh cleaning agents and don't leave the wood wet for long. That way your ring binder board keeps its dark blue surface and its sturdy shape for a long time.

Frequently asked questions

Do normally punched sheets fit on the board? Yes. The 2-ring and 4-ring A4 mechanisms have 80 mm ring spacing and take sheets from a standard office hole punch directly.

How many pages does the mechanism hold? All mechanisms have an inner diameter of 19.5 mm and a filling height of 11.5 mm. That's enough for menus, checklists or a manuscript.

Can I hang the board up? Yes. The hand grip lets you hold it in your hand and hang it on a hook or nail.

Why does my board look slightly different from the photo? Birch plywood is a natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots vary, so every board is unique. The direction of the grain can also differ. We're happy to agree a preferred direction with you.

Can the board be personalised? Yes. On request, we engrave your logo or a text into the board. Just get in touch before you order.
