A guest waves, the order needs to go on paper – and once again the slip is fluttering loose across the counter. With the Gastro ring binder board in dark green, you hold a sturdy writing board in your hand. Its ring binder mechanism keeps order slips, checklists and menus securely in place. It feels made for the bustle between kitchen and dining room. And it is just as reliable at the desk, on stage or in the workshop.

What changes for you

  • You turn the page and nothing falls out – because the silver ring mechanism holds your papers firmly together.
  • You can write comfortably standing up, wherever you are. The sturdy 3 mm birch plywood board gives you a firm surface at all times.
  • You keep a secure grip on the board or hang it on the wall within easy reach. The hand grip makes both possible.
  • Your counter looks tidier and more uniform. Menus and lists no longer lie around loose – they are neatly filed.
  • You choose exactly the size you need: A3, A4 or A5, each in portrait or landscape.

Why this ring binder board makes a difference every day

A ring binder with a firm back board makes a real difference when you work with paper. Nothing slips, nothing gets lost, and you don't need a table to jot something down or look it up. The dark green board also gives your menu or manuscript a neat frame. That works in a restaurant just as well as at a lectern. So the first impression is calm and well thought out before you have even said a word.

Material & finish

At 3 mm, the birch plywood is deliberately light, yet very sturdy and robust. The board sits comfortably in your hand and copes with daily use in catering. The dark green surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear varnish, so it holds up well in use. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, and is neatly finished. Wood is a natural material. Slight differences in shade and grain as well as small knots are part of it. They make every piece one of a kind, not a defect.

How to use your ring binder board

  • In a restaurant or café: file the daily menu and hand it to your guest as a menu holder. It is neatly presented and quickly swapped when the menu changes.
  • During service: order slips and checklists stay filed in one place. No more searching when things get hectic.
  • On stage, at rehearsals or at the lectern: your script, presenter notes or speech are securely filed. You turn the pages calmly, and no sheet drifts to the floor.
  • In the workshop and office: as a portable writing board and ring binder for A4 or A5, you always have your reports and notes with you. Thanks to the hand grip, the board hangs neatly on a hook at the end of the day.
  • For your own branding: on request, we can engrave the board with your logo or a text. Just get in touch.

Good to know about the ring binder

The big advantage of a ring mechanism over a clip: you can file, swap and turn pages individually without losing their order. That is exactly what makes the board so useful wherever content changes often. From the weekly menu in the dining room to the script that is still being polished until the last rehearsal.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaning products. Then the varnished surface will keep its well-kept look for a long time.
