The guest waves, your pen is ready – and your order pad finally has a firm surface. With the ring binder board Gastro dark red, you write just as steadily standing up as at a table. The silver ring binder mechanism holds your sheets securely in place. Use it as a mobile writing board for table service, as a menu holder or as a script holder at the lectern. This board is made for hands that need things in order on the move.

What changes for you

  • You can write neatly even while standing or walking. The 3 mm birch plywood forms a sturdy, smooth writing surface.
  • Your order pads, notes or menu cards stay in place when you turn the pages. Thanks to the silver ring binder mechanism, nothing slips or goes missing.
  • You always have a secure grip on the board, or you can put it away quickly. The handle cutout is for holding it and for hanging it on the counter or on a hook.
  • You look organised in front of your guests. The dark red surface shows an even wave texture.
  • You choose exactly the format that suits your documents: A3, A4 or A5, each in portrait or landscape.

Why this ring binder board makes a difference every day

Loose sheets make you rushed. A firm board keeps you calm. With the ring binder board, you take orders, flip through the menu or go through your speech. No page falls out or flutters away. On stage, in the studio, at rehearsal or in the restaurant, your work simply runs smoothly – and people can see it.

Material & finish

The board is made from 3 mm birch plywood in our own production in Pößneck. It is very sturdy and robust, yet pleasantly light in the hand. The surface is sealed twice with a tough water-based clear lacquer. So it copes well with daily use in restaurants, offices and homes. Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, small knots and fine irregularities in the grain are part of it. That makes every piece unique. The grain can run horizontally or vertically, regardless of the format you order. A preferred direction is possible after a quick chat with us.

How to use your ring binder board

  • In table service: clip in your order pad and pick up the board. You note every order calmly and legibly, even when things have to move fast at the table.
  • As a menu holder in a restaurant or café: the menu sits firmly in the mechanism and is easy to page through. After you swap individual pages, it goes straight back to the table.
  • On stage, in the studio or at the lectern: your script, presenter notes or speech are filed rather than loose. You turn the page without a sheet falling to the floor.
  • In the office or home office: as a mobile writing board, it lets you take notes, checklists and minutes anywhere. From your desk to the meeting and back.
  • In the workshop or at catering events: thanks to the handle cutout, schedules and notes hang ready to hand on a hook. They no longer disappear between boxes.

Good to know about the ring binder board

Birch plywood consists of several veneer layers glued crosswise. This keeps the board dimensionally stable and rigid, even though it is only 3 mm thick. That is why the material works so well for a board that is carried, held and written on all day.

Care & durability

There is not much to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer finish, a slightly damp cloth is enough to wipe it clean. Avoid prolonged moisture and harsh cleaners. That way the dark red surface stays well kept for a long time.
