Your guests are seated and the orders are coming in. The menu sits neatly filed on a board that feels good in the hand and doesn't slip the moment someone picks it up. That is exactly what the hospitality ring binder board in light oak is for. File your pages, turn them, done. Nothing falls out and nothing gets creased. Use it as a menu holder at the table, as a writing pad in the office or as a script holder at the lectern. It's made for your everyday work with paper.

What changes for you

  • You turn the page without a single sheet falling out. The silver ring binder mechanism holds your menu, presenter script or checklist firmly in place.
  • You can hold the board securely or hang it up within easy reach. The finger hole makes both possible.
  • You write on a stable surface, even when standing. The 3 mm birch plywood keeps its shape and is robust.
  • Your tables and counter look tidy. The light oak finish suits almost any setting.
  • You can simply wipe off stains. The surface is sealed with two coats of durable water-based clear lacquer.

Why this ring binder board makes a difference every day

Loose sheets create clutter – on the table, at the counter, on stage. With a ring binder board, everything you read or write on every day gets a fixed place and a clear structure. Your guests hold a menu that suits your venue. You swap pages in seconds instead of ordering new folders. Paperwork becomes a simple, orderly task.

Material & finish

The board is made from 3 mm birch plywood. It is thin enough to sit lightly in the hand, yet very stable and resistant to warping. The light oak finish is sealed twice with a hard-wearing water-based clear lacquer. This means it can handle daily use in a restaurant or workshop. Every board is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is neatly finished, right down to the rounded corners. The grain may run horizontally or vertically, because we plan our cutouts to keep waste low. If you prefer a particular direction, just send us a short message and we'll be happy to arrange it with you. Would you like your logo or a text on the board? Engraving is available on request – just get in touch.

How to use your ring binder board

  • In a restaurant or café: file your menu and daily specials. When dishes change, you just swap that one page instead of reprinting every menu.
  • On stage, in the studio or at the lectern: file your script, presenter notes or speech and turn the pages calmly. No page drifts to the floor, even when you're standing.
  • In the office or working from home: as a writing pad with a ring binder for A4 or A5, you have notes and minutes to hand straight away during a phone call.
  • In the workshop or warehouse: checklists and job sheets hang on a hook thanks to the finger hole. Everyone can find them and nobody has to search.
  • At home: recipes, shopping lists or the weekly plan get a fixed place in the kitchen. Neatly filed instead of loose on the fridge.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made of several layers of veneer glued crosswise. This makes it remarkably stable even when thin, and it hardly warps. That's why the board, at just 3 mm, works well for daily handling by many people in restaurants and hotels. It is easy to hold and still durable in the long run.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer seal, simply wipe the board with a damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged wetness and harsh cleaning products. That way the surface stays looking good for a long time, even with daily use.

Frequently asked questions

Is the ring binder mechanism included? Yes, every board comes with the mechanism to match the size you choose. It is ready fitted, so you can start filing straight away.

Can I choose between portrait and landscape? Yes, all three sizes (A3, A4, A5) are available in portrait or landscape.

Does the grain always run in the same direction? No, the grain may run horizontally or vertically, because we cut to keep waste low. A preferred direction is possible after a quick chat.

Why does each board look slightly different? Wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary from piece to piece. This makes every board one of a kind – it is not a flaw.

Can the board have a logo? Yes, we can engrave your logo or a text on request. Just send us a message.

What really counts is the moment your guests hold a neatly presented menu. Or the moment you turn the page calmly during a talk, because everything is in its place. Simply choose your size and whether you want portrait or landscape. We'll make the rest for you.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer free repair or free replacement; in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement. Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue. 2. Provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice, or bank statement. Sellers and producers may also offer commercial guarantees, which apply independently from the legal guarantee. For example, you may see this GARAN label representing a commercial guarantee of durability offered by the producer at no additional cost and covering the entire good.
