Lunchtime at the café. The menu changes, and the new daily menus are printed. They should still feel firm and comfortable in the hand. That is exactly what the grey Gastro ring binder board is made for. You simply clip punched sheets into the silver ring binder mechanism. You swap pages in seconds. And you hand your guests a menu that feels sturdy and pleasant to hold. It also works as a writing board for notes and orders, or as a script holder on stage. Either way, the board turns loose sheets into a firm, steady surface.

What changes for you

  • You change menus, scripts or note sheets in seconds – because the ring binder mechanism holds punched pages securely and opens quickly.
  • You can write comfortably anywhere, even without a table – thanks to the firm, smooth writing surface made from 3 mm birch plywood.
  • You always have a secure grip on the board, or you hang it neatly on a hook – the handle cut-out is for holding and for hanging.
  • No more pages falling out when you turn them – ideal for presenter notes, a screenplay or a speech at the lectern.
  • Your brand stays consistent and recognisable – on request, we can engrave your logo or a text onto the board.

Why this ring binder board makes a difference every day

Loose sheets quickly look messy – on the counter, at the table and on stage. With the ring binder board, everything has its fixed place. The menu lies steady in the hand. Orders can be noted down while standing. The manuscript stays in the right order. The subtle grey fits in quietly in dining rooms, offices and at home.

Material & finish

The board is light yet keeps its shape, because it is made from 3 mm birch plywood. It is very sturdy and robust, even in daily use. The surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear varnish. This keeps the writing surface smooth and hard-wearing. The wave shape with rounded corners is comfortable to hold and sits securely in your palm. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots can vary. This makes every piece unique – it is not a flaw.

  • On stage, in the studio and at the lectern: file your presenter notes or screenplay and turn the pages without any falling out – so you keep your flow.
  • In the office and home office: keep checklists and documents to hand in the ring binder. After work, hang the board up by its handle cut-out – your desk stays clear.
  • At home: keep recipes, homework or the shopping list together in one place – nothing gets lost any more.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made from several thin layers of wood glued crosswise. That is why the board keeps its shape so well and hardly warps, even though it is only 3 millimetres thick. This makes it so reliable as a writing board and menu holder in daily use: light to carry, yet firm in the hand.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. Thanks to the double clear varnish, it is enough to wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged wetness and harsh cleaners. This keeps the surface smooth and looking good for a long time.
