Every board is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia, and is neatly finished. Wood is a purely natural material. The grain varies in lightness, and small knots may occur. The grain can run horizontally or vertically. This makes every piece one of a kind. If you would like a particular grain direction, this is possible after a short consultation.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made by gluing several thin layers of wood crosswise. This creates a material that is remarkably dimensionally stable despite being thin. That is why the ring binder board only needs 3 mm. It is light enough to carry for hours during service and firm enough to write on while standing.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. Thanks to the double clear lacquer seal, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. This way the surface keeps its warm hazelnut tone for a long time.
