Why this ring binder board makes a difference every day
Loose sheets quickly look messy. That goes for the guest table as much as for reception or the workshop. With a firm board and ring binder, your papers get a clear place. Everything stays in the right order. Nothing slips, nothing gets lost. The light blue stands out pleasantly from the usual office grey. It suits a café, an ice cream parlour or a children's room alike.
Material & finish
The board is made from 3 mm birch plywood. It's thin enough to feel light in the hand, yet very sturdy and resistant to twisting. The neatly finished wave shape with rounded corners sits comfortably in the hand. Two coats of water-based clear lacquer protect the light blue surface in daily use. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material. Grain and shade may vary slightly, and small knots may appear. This is not a defect – it makes every board one of a kind. The grain may run horizontally or vertically. If you have a preference, just send us a quick message and we'll be happy to agree it with you.

How to use your ring binder board
- In a restaurant or café: the menu sits firmly in the menu holder. Your guests can browse with ease. At the end of the day, you simply hang the board up by its finger grip.
- At reception or in a hotel: checklists and forms stay filed in a fixed order. No searching, no re-sorting in between.
- In the workshop or warehouse: order slips and job lists travel with you from station to station. You make notes directly on the firm writing board.
- On stage, in the studio or at the lectern: use it as a script holder. Your script, presenter notes or speech stay securely filed. You turn the page without a sheet floating to the floor.
- At home at your desk: recipes, homework or the weekly plan have their fixed place in an A4 or A5 ring binder. Tidy and always to hand.
Good to know about birch plywood
Plywood consists of several veneer layers glued crosswise. This construction keeps the board stable, even though it is only 3 mm thick. That's why birch plywood works especially well for boards you pick up every day. It's light to carry during service and firm enough to write on standing up.
Care & durability
There isn't much you need to do. Thanks to the two coats of clear lacquer, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged moisture and harsh cleaning products. That way the light blue surface stays looking good for a long time, even in daily catering use.

Frequently asked questions
Which ring mechanism is included? The board always comes with the matching mechanism. For A5, it's a 4-ring mechanism (45 x 65 x 45 mm) or a 2-ring mechanism (80 mm). For A4, it's a 4-ring mechanism (80 x 80 x 80 mm). Each has an inner Ø of 19.5 mm and a capacity of 11.5 mm.
Can I hang the board up? Yes. The finger grip lets you hold the board in use and also hang it up, for example on a hook behind the bar.
Why does the grain on my board run differently than expected? We optimise our cutouts to avoid unnecessary waste. So the grain may run horizontally or vertically. A preferred direction is possible after a quick chat with us.
Is every board the same? No. Wood is a natural material with varying shades, fine textures and occasional small knots. That's what makes every piece one of a kind.
Can I order the board with a logo? Yes, on request we engrave your logo or a text. Just get in touch with us before you order.
What matters isn't the board with its ring mechanism. It's the moment when everything is in its place. The menu is in your guest's hands, the slip is within reach, and your mind is free for what counts. Just choose your format and your mechanism. We'll make the rest for you.
