Lunchtime rush, full tables, and you have to write on your order pad while standing. This is exactly where the light green ring binder board for hospitality proves its worth. It is a firm writing surface with a silver ring binder mechanism. It holds order pads, notes or the menu securely in place. It is made for everyday service. At home or in the office, it also gives loose sheets of paper a fixed place at last.

What changes for you

  • You can take notes securely while standing. The 3 mm birch plywood forms a firm, sturdy writing surface.
  • Your sheets stay together, even when you flip through them quickly. The silver ring binder mechanism holds order pads, cards and notes reliably.
  • You always have the board to hand or neatly stored away. The finger hole lets you hold it and hang it up at the counter or in the kitchen.
  • Your menu looks lovingly presented rather than loosely photocopied. The light green colour and the visible grain of the birch plywood appeal directly to your guests.
  • You don't need to worry much about stains. The surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear varnish.

Why this ring binder board makes a difference every day

Loose sheets, creased cards and hunting for a firm surface cost more nerves in everyday life than you might think. A ring binder on sturdy wood makes things calmer. Everything is in its place and nothing falls out. You can focus on your guests, your notes or your text. The wood look in light green turns an everyday item into something you enjoy picking up.

Material & finish

The board is made from 3 mm birch plywood. Despite its low thickness, this makes it very sturdy and robust. It copes well with daily use in hospitality. The double seal of durable water-based clear varnish protects the surface. It also makes the surface feel pleasantly smooth when you write. Wood is a purely natural material. The grain varies in lightness, and small knots may occur. This makes every board one of a kind and is not a defect. Every ring binder board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. On request, we can add your logo engraving or a text. Just send us a short message.

How to use your ring binder board

  • In a restaurant or café: the menu and daily specials are filed on the table. Your guests can flip through easily, and nothing slips or creases.
  • In service: order pad clipped in, board in hand. You take notes standing up on a firm surface, even when things get hectic.
  • On stage, in the studio or at the lectern: your script, presenter notes or speech are securely filed. You turn the pages without a sheet falling out.
  • In the office or home office: as a writing board and ring binder in one, it keeps checklists and notes always to hand. No more searching for them on your desk.
  • In the workshop and at home: thanks to the finger hole, your weekly plan, shopping list or work instructions hang on a hook. One glance and you know what's next.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood consists of several layers of wood glued crosswise. This makes it much more dimensionally stable than a solid wood board of the same thickness. That is why a thickness of just 3 mm is enough for the ring binder board. It stays light in your hand. It still offers a firm writing surface that keeps up with a working day in service or at the lectern.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. Thanks to the clear varnish seal, you simply wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged moisture and harsh cleaning products. This way the wood keeps its colour and smooth surface for a long time.

Frequently asked questions

Which paper formats is the ring binder board suitable for? For A3, A4 and A5 – each in either portrait or landscape format. The matching silver ring binder mechanism is included.

How much paper fits in the mechanism? All mechanisms have an inner diameter of 19.5 mm and a capacity of 11.5 mm. That is enough for order pads, notes or a menu with several pages.

Can I have the board engraved with my logo? Yes, on request we can add your logo engraving or a text to the board. Just contact us before you order.

Why does my board look slightly different from the photo? Wood is a natural material. Lightness, grain and small knots vary from piece to piece. This makes every board one of a kind.

How do I care for the surface? Simply wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged moisture and harsh cleaning products. The sealed surface will then look good for a long time.

What matters is not a board with a ring mechanism. What matters is the moment when you calmly take notes in the middle of the rush. Your guests leaf through the menu at ease, and everything is in its place. Just choose your format in portrait or landscape – the board does the rest.
