It's the lunchtime rush and the menu changes. Your dish of the day should still reach your guests on a sturdy board. This Gastro ring binder board in chestnut is made for exactly that. It is made of birch plywood with a smooth chestnut surface. Instead of loose sheets or worn folders, you simply file your menu, order slips or checklist in the silver ring mechanism. It also works as a writing board when you're standing, at a lectern or in the workshop. Scattered notes become one orderly stack.

What changes for you

  • You change pages in seconds. The ring mechanism opens easily, so you can quickly swap or add sheets.
  • You can jot down orders and checklists comfortably while standing. The sturdy writing surface is made of 3 mm birch plywood.
  • You turn the pages on stage, in the studio or at the lectern without a page falling out. Your script, presenter notes or speech stay securely filed.
  • Your board is always to hand or neatly put away. The cut-out handle is for holding and for hanging it up.
  • Your menu stays neat even when things get busy. The surface is sealed twice with a hard-wearing water-based clear lacquer.

Why this ring binder board makes a difference every day

At a restaurant table, at the bar or at home on the kitchen notice spot: a ring binder board keeps everything that changes regularly in order. Your guests hold a calmly designed menu instead of loose sheets. You swap contents without re-sorting everything each time. Your presentation looks tidy and well thought out. It only takes one quick move.

Material & finish

The board is made of 3 mm birch plywood in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is very stable, robust and neatly finished. The double seal with water-based clear lacquer protects the surface in daily use. The chestnut shade gives the board a warm wood look. Wood is a natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots vary from board to board. That makes every piece one of a kind. If you like, we can engrave your logo or a text on the board. Just get in touch.

How to use your ring binder board

  • In a restaurant or café: you file your current menu in A4 or A5 ring binder format. Your guests hold a well-kept menu in their hands. Updating the dish of the day only takes one page swap.
  • At the bar or when serving: order slips and checklists are ready on the writing surface. You take notes standing up without looking for something firm to lean on.
  • On stage, in the studio and at rehearsals: as a script holder, the board carries your script or presenter notes. You turn the page and no sheet drifts to the floor.
  • In the office or home office: recurring routines, schedules and notes hang on the wall within easy reach. Thanks to the finger hole, you can take the board down and hang it back up quickly.
  • At home: shopping lists, recipes or the family's weekly plan get a fixed place in the kitchen. Everything stays clear instead of scattered.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood consists of several veneer layers glued crosswise. This makes it remarkably stable even when thin. That's why the board, at just 3 mm thick, stays pleasantly light in daily restaurant use. At the same time, it holds up to being handled, written on and hung up all the time.

Care & durability

There isn't much to do. Simply wipe the clear-lacquered surface with a cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged moisture. That way the wood keeps its even look in the warm chestnut shade for a long time.

Is the board available in portrait and landscape? Yes, every format (A3, A4, A5) is available in portrait or landscape.

Why does my board look different from the picture? Wood is a natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots vary. Every board is one of a kind – this is not a defect.

Can I have the board personalised? Yes, on request we engrave your logo or a text into the board. Just send us a short message.
