The finish is clean, right down to the rounded corners. Wood is a natural material. The grain may be lighter or darker, and small knots may occur. This makes every piece one of a kind. Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made of several thin layers of wood glued crosswise to each other. This means the board warps much less than solid wood of the same thickness. That is why this board, only 3 mm thin, stays stable and flat. It is ideal as a writing surface that passes through many hands every day.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. Thanks to the double clear varnish, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged moisture. This way the surface keeps looking good for a long time.

Can I choose the direction of the grain? As standard, the grain may run horizontally or vertically. We optimise our cutouts to avoid waste. By arrangement, we are happy to align the grain as you wish. Just send us a short message.

Which ring mechanism is included? The mechanism that matches your chosen format is included: 4-ring for A4 (ring spacing 80 x 80 x 80 mm), 4-ring for A5 (45 x 65 x 45 mm) or 2-ring (80 mm). Each has an inner Ø of 19.5 mm and a capacity of 11.5 mm.
