So that the board can keep up every day, we make it from 3 mm birch plywood. It is light in the hand, yet very stable and robust. The mahogany surface is sealed with two coats of hard-wearing, water-based clear lacquer. It feels smooth, is easy to keep clean and still looks well kept after lots of use. Wood is a purely natural material. Shade, grain and small knots can vary, so every board is unique. Every ring binder board is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia. Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made from several thin layers of wood glued crosswise. This means the board hardly warps. Despite being only 3 mm thick, it stays stable and strong. That is why birch plywood works so well for a board that gets picked up many times a day in a busy restaurant.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. Thanks to the two coats of clear lacquer, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed and let it dry. Avoid prolonged wetness and harsh cleaning products. That way, the surface stays smooth and looks good for a long time.
