Lunchtime at the café: order pads pass from hand to hand, loose notes drift to the floor, and the menu has seen better days. A ring binder board brings calm to this chaos. Notes, checklists and menus sit securely in the ring mechanism. They turn over neatly, and no page falls out. In fresh mint green, the board looks made for your counter: friendly, tidy and ready to use straight away.

What changes for you

  • You no longer lose notes between tables. The silver ring mechanism holds order pads, checklists and menus securely in place.
  • You always have a firm surface to write on, even standing up. The 3 mm birch plywood keeps its shape and does not give.
  • You can carry and store the board easily. The finger hole lets you hold it or hang it on a hook.
  • You choose exactly the size that suits your papers. Available for DIN A3, A4 and A5, each in portrait or landscape.
  • You can make the board your own. On request, we engrave your logo or a text on it – just send us a message.

Why this ring binder board makes a difference every day

Whether you are serving between tables, at a lectern or at your desk at home: when your papers sit firmly and turn with one movement, you work more calmly and with more focus. Your guests hold a menu made from birch plywood that suits your interior. And instead of loose scraps of paper, everything looks tidy – on the counter as well as on stage.

Material & finish

The board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, from 3 mm birch plywood. It is very sturdy and robust, yet light in the hand. The mint green surface is sealed twice with a tough water-based clear lacquer. This means it copes with daily use in catering and workshops. The wave shape with rounded corners sits well in the hand and has no sharp edges. Wood is a natural material. Variations in shade, small knots and patterns in the grain are normal. That is exactly what makes every board one of a kind.

How to use your ring binder board

  • In restaurants and cafés: the menu sits firmly in the ring binder. When the menu changes, you can swap it in seconds. And your guests hold a menu holder that suits the style of your place.
  • In service and hotels: order pads and checklists stay exactly where you need them as you move between tables. Nothing flaps about, nothing gets lost.
  • On stage, in the studio or at the lectern: simply file your script, presenter notes or speech. You can turn the pages quietly, and no page falls out.
  • In the workshop: work instructions and inspection lists hang on a hook by the finger hole, ready to hand. When you tick items off, they lie flat on the sturdy writing board.
  • At home and in the office: use it as a writing surface for notes, shopping lists or as an A4 ring binder for your papers. Everything is in one place instead of loose sheets on the table.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made of several veneer layers glued crosswise. This makes it much more resistant to twisting than a plain solid wood board of the same thickness. That is why this ring binder board, only 3 mm thick, holds menus, pads and manuscripts every day without warping. Ideal for constant use in catering and offices.

Care & durability

You don't need to do much. Thanks to the double clear lacquer seal, wiping the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed is enough. Avoid prolonged wetness. This way the mint green surface keeps its fresh look for a long time.

Frequently asked questions

Can the surface handle daily use in catering? Yes. The board is sealed twice with a tough water-based clear lacquer and is made for everyday use in restaurants, hotels and workshops.

Does every board look the same? No. Birch is a natural material with variations in shade, fine patterns and small knots. This makes every board one of a kind, not faulty.

Can I choose the direction of the grain? Yes, by arrangement. By default, the grain runs horizontally or vertically because we optimise our cutouts. Just send us a short message with your preference.

Can the board be engraved with a logo or text? Yes, on request we engrave your logo or a text on the ring binder board. Just get in touch with us.

Can I hang the board up? Yes. The finger hole is for holding and for hanging – for example on a hook in the kitchen or workshop.

A board with a ring mechanism is only part of it. What counts is the moment between tables when you have everything to hand. Then your mind is free for your guests. Simply choose your size in portrait or landscape format and get started.
