Your guests are seated and the menu gets passed around the table. It keeps its shape instead of getting bent at the corners. With the Gastro ring binder board in olive green, you simply file menus, checklists or notes in the ring binder mechanism. Every page turns without falling out. At the bar, at your desk or at the lectern: the board looks as if it was made just for your spot.

What changes for you

  • Your menu still looks neat after passing through many hands. Punched pages sit securely in the silver ring binder mechanism instead of lying around loose.
  • You have a firm surface in your hand when you write. The 3 mm birch plywood stays stable, even when you take notes standing up.
  • You can hold the board securely or hang it up to save space. The hand hole is designed for both.
  • Your papers look tidy. The olive green writing board with its wave shape brings a calm colour to your desk.
  • You stay flexible with size and orientation. You can choose between A3, A4 and A5, each in portrait or landscape.

Why this ring binder board makes a difference every day

Loose sheets cost time and look messy. That goes for in front of guests as much as at your own desk. With a fixed place for your menu, daily plan or script, you just pick up the board. Everything is in front of you in the right order. That makes service calmer, presenting more relaxed and your workspace easier to keep in order.

Material & finish

The birch plywood feels light yet firm in your hand. At 3 mm thick, the board is stable and sturdy enough for daily use in restaurants, offices and at home. The surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear lacquer. This keeps the olive green writing board looking good for a long time. Every board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is neatly finished and has rounded corners. Wood is a natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots vary, so every piece is unique. The grain can run horizontally or vertically. If you like, just send us a short message and we will agree the direction with you. We can also add your engraved logo or a text to the board. Just ask.

How to use your ring binder board

  • In a restaurant or café: file the daily menu and hand the board to the table. Your guests can leaf through it easily. When the menu changes, you swap the pages in seconds.
  • At the lectern, on stage or in the studio: your speech, script or presenter notes are firmly filed. You turn the pages without one falling out.
  • In the workshop or warehouse: checklists and job sheets hang on the wall, ready to hand. Thanks to the hand hole, you take the board down, make notes standing up and hang it back.
  • In the office and at home: use it as a writing board with a ring binder function. You keep notes, to-do lists and papers in one fixed place. No more loose sheets flying around.
  • At catering events or the weekly market: offer and price lists stay together in order. You look prepared, even when things get busy.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made of several thin layers of wood glued crosswise. This means it warps much less than a single board of the same thickness. That is why the ring binder board stays stable and light despite being only 3 mm thick. This makes a real difference in daily service and when you write with it in your hand.

Care & durability

There isn't much to do. The surface is sealed twice with clear lacquer. When needed, just wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking it for long and don't use harsh cleaners. That way the olive green writing board keeps its well-kept look for a long time.

Frequently asked questions

Which sheets fit the ring binder mechanism? Punched sheets in the size you choose. Depending on the size, the board has a 2-ring or 4-ring mechanism with an inner Ø of 19.5 mm and a filling height of 11.5 mm.

Can I hang the board up? Yes, the hand hole is for holding and for hanging – for example on a hook on the wall.

Why does the grain look different on every board? Wood is a natural material. Brightness, texture and small knots vary, so every board is unique. The grain can run horizontally or vertically. You can request a direction by arrangement.

Can the board be personalised? Yes, on request we add your engraved logo or a text. Just send us a message.

How do I care for the surface? A slightly damp cloth is all you need. The clear lacquer seal protects the wood in everyday use. Avoid soaking it and don't use harsh cleaners.

What counts is more than a board with rings. It's the moment you reach for the menu and everything is in its place – in front of guests, on stage or at your own desk. Just choose your size in portrait or landscape and get started.
