Every ring binder board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia, with careful, clean workmanship. Wood is a purely natural material. So each board shows its own grain with slight colour differences or knots. This is not a flaw. It is what makes every piece one of a kind.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made by gluing several thin veneer layers crosswise. This makes the board much more resistant to twisting than a solid wood board of the same thickness. That is exactly why 3 mm is enough for the ring binder board. It stays light enough to carry for hours during service. And it is still firm enough to write on.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. Simply wipe the clear-varnished surface with a slightly damp cloth and let it dry. Avoid prolonged moisture. Then the wood keeps its shape for a long time and the orange stays bright.

Which ring binder mechanism is included? Each board comes with the matching mechanism. For A5, a 4-ring mechanism (ring spacing 45 x 65 x 45 mm). For A4, a 4-ring mechanism (80 x 80 x 80 mm) or a 2-ring mechanism (80 mm). Each has an inner Ø of 19.5 mm and a capacity of 11.5 mm.

Can I choose between portrait and landscape? Yes, all sizes from A3 to A5 are available in both portrait and landscape.

Why does the grain on my board look different from the photo? Wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary from board to board, so every piece is one of a kind. The grain can also run horizontally or vertically. If you wish, we can agree on the direction with you.

How do I care for the surface? Thanks to the double clear varnish seal, a slightly damp cloth is all you need. Please avoid prolonged moisture.
