The guests are seated and the orders are coming in. The menu is neatly filed on a bright red board you notice straight away. The Gastro ring binder board in scarlet red holds menus, order slips or notes securely in its silver ring mechanism. At the same time, it sits in your hand as a sturdy writing surface – just right for the trip between kitchen and dining room. At home or in the office, it keeps loose sheets in one place at last.

What changes for you

  • You always have order slips, checklists and notes together – thanks to the ring mechanism, no sheet falls out.
  • You can write comfortably anywhere, standing or on the move. The 3 mm birch plywood forms a firm, smooth writing surface.
  • You can carry the board safely through the dining room or hang it on the wall within reach. The finger hole makes both possible.
  • Your documents look neatly presented instead of loosely stacked. The strong scarlet red stands out clearly on counter and table.
  • You turn the pages of your script, presenter notes or speech without a page slipping. Ideal for stage, studio and lectern.

Why this ring binder board makes a difference every day

Loose sheets cost time and nerves – during service just as much as at your desk. With a fixed place for everything you need right now, your work runs more calmly. You pick it up, write and turn the page. Guests and customers also see order and care when the menu or checklist sits on a well-thought-out board. Not in a creased folder.

Material & finish

The board is made of 3 mm birch plywood. It is thin enough to be light in your hand. It is also very stable and robust for daily use. The surface is sealed twice with a hard-wearing water-based clear lacquer. This keeps it smooth and resistant in use. Wood is a purely natural material. Different shades, small knots and variations in the grain are part of it and make every piece unique. The ring binder board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. On request, we can add your logo engraving or a text – just get in touch.

How to use your ring binder board

  • In the restaurant or café: the menu sits firmly in the mechanism. Your guests can turn the pages easily. After service, the board hangs neatly by its finger hole.
  • During service and in the kitchen: order slips and checklists travel with you, filed away. Nothing gets lost between counter and cooker.
  • On stage or at the lectern: you turn your script, presenter notes or manuscript page by page without anything falling out.
  • At home and in the office: as a writing board with rings, it keeps notes, lists and forms in one fixed place. And you can write neatly even without a table.
  • In the workshop: job sheets and inspection lists stay filed and to hand, even when things get dusty around you.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood consists of several veneer layers glued crosswise. That is why it is remarkably stable even when thin and hardly warps. This makes the board, only 3 mm thick, a light yet hard-wearing writing surface. It is made for daily use in catering, the office and the home.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer finish, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid prolonged wetness and harsh cleaners. This keeps the surface smooth and the colour strong for a long time.

Frequently asked questions

Is the ring mechanism included? Yes, every board comes with the silver ring mechanism that matches the size you choose.

Can I choose the direction of the wood grain? By default, the grain can run horizontally or vertically, as we optimise our cutouts to reduce waste. A preferred direction is possible by arrangement.

Can the board be personalised? Yes, on request we can add your logo engraving or a text to the board – just contact us.

Why does my board look a little different from the photo? Wood is a natural material. Shade, grain and small knots vary from piece to piece. This is not a flaw – it makes every board unique.

How do I care for the surface? Simply wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. The double clear-lacquer seal protects the wood in everyday use.

What counts is the moment you head to the next order or begin your speech. Everything you need lies in front of you, calm and organised. Simply choose your format in portrait or landscape. The scarlet red ring binder board takes care of the rest.
