The surface is sealed twice with a durable water-based clear lacquer. This keeps it smooth and resistant in daily use. Every ring binder board is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, small knots and a varying grain direction are not defects. They make every piece unique. Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made from several layers of wood glued crosswise. This makes it more dimensionally stable than a solid wood board of the same thickness. That is why the ring binder board is only 3 mm thick and easy to carry. At the same time, it stands up to daily use in restaurants, workshops and offices.

Care & durability

There is not much you need to do. Thanks to the double clear lacquer seal, a damp cloth is enough to wipe the surface. Avoid soaking it for long periods and constant moisture. This keeps your board smooth, stable and looking good for a long time.
