Your first guests are about to arrive, and today's menu has changed. You still want to hand it over looking good. That's exactly what the ring binder board Gastro Toscana is made for at your counter. The silver ring mechanism holds menus, order slips or checklists securely together. The coloured birch board is pleasantly light in your hand. It also keeps your pages in order as a writing board on the go or as a script holder on stage.

What changes for you

  • You turn the page without anything falling out. The ring mechanism reliably holds menus, notes and checklists together.
  • You can write comfortably standing up, for example when taking orders or doing stocktakes. The sturdy writing surface is made from 3 mm birch plywood.
  • You always have a firm hold on the board, or it hangs on the wall ready to grab. The hand grip is for holding and for hanging.
  • Your menu still looks neat after passing through many hands. The surface is sealed twice with a hard-wearing clear lacquer.
  • You choose exactly the format that suits your documents: A3, A4 or A5, each in portrait or landscape.

Why this ring binder board makes a difference every day

Loose sheets quickly look messy. That's true on the counter, at the lectern and especially at your guests' table. A ring binder board gives your pages a fixed place and a wooden frame. The Toscana pattern adds colour without being loud. It fits into a restaurant, an office or your home.

Material & finish

The board is made from 3 mm birch plywood. Despite its thinness, it is very stable and robust. It doesn't bend when you write and it stands up to everyday restaurant use. The surface is sealed twice with a water-based clear lacquer. This makes it feel smooth and keeps it looking good for a long time. Wood is a natural material. Lightness, grain and small knots vary from board to board, so every piece is unique. Every ring binder board is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use your ring binder board

  • In a restaurant or café: file the current menu and hand it over at the table. Your guests hold a solid menu, and switching to the new daily menu takes just seconds.
  • In service and in the workshop: keep order slips and checklists securely together and work through them standing up. Nothing blows away and nothing gets lost.
  • On stage, in the studio or at the lectern: file your script, presenter notes or speech and turn the pages calmly. Every page stays in place.
  • In the office or at home: use it as a writing board with ring binder for notes, lists and documents. Everything important is in one place. Hang it up by the hand grip and take it down again whenever you need it.
  • Our tip for your brand: On request, we can engrave your logo or a text on the board. This turns the menu holder into part of your brand. Just send us a short message.

Good to know about birch plywood

Plywood is made from several layers of veneer glued crosswise. This makes it far more dimensionally stable than a solid wood board of the same thickness. That's why the ring binder board only needs to be 3 mm thick. It stays light in your hand and still gives you a firm surface. You can write on it comfortably, even standing up.

Care & durability

There isn't much to do. Thanks to the clear lacquer finish, simply wipe the board with a slightly damp cloth when needed. Avoid constant moisture and harsh cleaners. This keeps the surface looking neat for a long time.

Frequently asked questions

Which formats is the ring binder board suitable for? For DIN A3, A4 and A5. You can order each format in portrait or landscape.

Which ring mechanism is included? The board comes with the matching mechanism. This is a 4-ring mechanism for A4 (ring spacing 80 x 80 x 80 mm), a 4-ring mechanism for A5 (45 x 65 x 45 mm) or a 2-ring mechanism (80 mm). Each has an inner Ø19.5 mm and a capacity of 11.5 mm.

Why does my board look slightly different from the picture? Birch is a natural material. Lightness, grain and small knots vary. This isn't a defect. It makes your board unique.

Can I have the board personalised? Yes, we can engrave your logo or a text on request. Just get in touch with us.

How do I care for the surface? Simply wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. The double clear lacquer finish protects the wood in daily use.

This board is made for the moment you hand your guests the menu. It's neatly organised, and they hold wood in their hands instead of loose sheets. Just choose your format, and your next menu change takes seconds.
