The coloured birch boards are sealed twice with a durable water-based clear varnish. This protects the surface in everyday use. Wood is a purely natural material. The grain may turn out lighter or darker, and small knots can occur. This makes every board unique. The grain can run horizontally or vertically. If you have a preference, just send us a short message and we will agree it with you. Every ring binder board is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia.
