Why this wooden daisy makes a difference in everyday life
A single flower in the window, a few small marguerites on the laid table – and the room feels like spring. The warm red on real wood looks calmer and more natural than plastic decorations. And because you choose the size and quantity yourself, the flower fits your project, not the other way round.
Material & finish
Every marguerite is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. That's where the typical brown edge comes from. It gives the motif a fine outline. The red glaze on the front covers well. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots still show through. Wood is a natural material, so every flower turns out a little different. That makes each piece one of a kind. The back is left untreated, so you can paint it or glue it on directly. Every flower is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the wooden daisy
- In the window: Hang a few flowers in different sizes on fine thread. Now spring greets everyone who walks past.
- Crafting with children: Paint or decorate the natural back. Every child designs their own flower, and you don't have to saw anything beforehand.
- On the door wreath: Work in one large marguerite as the centrepiece. The wreath instantly takes on a springtime look.
- On gifts and cards: Glue on a small flower and plain brown paper becomes a lovingly decorated parcel. A lovely idea for Mother's Day too.
- In your shop: Shop window, counter or market stall – with a set of 25 or 50 flowers you can decorate larger areas in a uniform way. You're done in just a few minutes.
- On signs: Glued next to a price tag or welcome message, the red marguerite makes the text stand out.
Good to know about the daisy
The name marguerite goes back to the Greek word for pearl. So even its name makes the flower a little jewel. Then there's the well-known flower game "He loves me, he loves me not", linked with it for generations. Both make the marguerite a motif that suits spring decorations and also gifts with a little message.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. Simply wipe off dust with a dry, soft cloth. Plywood doesn't cope well with constant moisture, so the marguerite is happiest in a dry place. That way the red glaze stays fresh for a long time and the flower keeps its shape.

Is the marguerite glazed on both sides? No, only the front is glazed red. The back is left natural and untreated – ideal for painting or gluing.
Why does the flower have a brown edge? The marguerites are laser-cut. The brown edge forms naturally during cutting and is part of their typical look.
Does every flower look the same? Not quite. Wood is a natural material with varying grain and small knots. Depending on the light, the structure shows through the glaze. Every piece is one of a kind.
