What changes for you
- You bring autumn into your home without your decorations wilting after two weeks – because the maple leaf is made from 3 mm thick plywood and keeps its red colour.
- You'll find the right size for every idea – from a small 3 cm scatter leaf to a large 50 cm wall motif, available in 1 cm steps.
- You can relax and craft with children. The red glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
- You can design the back exactly as you like – it's natural and untreated, so you can paint it, write on it or stick things to it.
- You work with clean, precisely sized cutouts – laser-cut with smooth edges and the typical brown edge that gives every leaf its outline.
Why this maple leaf makes a difference day to day
Real red maple leaves are beautiful – but only for a few days. The wooden maple leaf brings the same autumn colour into your room. It keeps its shape, and you can bring it out again year after year. Use it on its own at each place setting, as a garland at the window or scattered along a long table. The distinctive wooden maple leaf shape works even without much arranging.
Material & finish
Each leaf is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it smooth edges and the typical brown rim. The red glaze on the front covers well. Depending on the light, you can still see the wood grain and small knots through it. That is what gives each leaf its natural character. Wood is a purely natural material, so every piece is unique. The back is deliberately left natural so you can decorate it yourself. Every maple leaf is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

- In a café, bakery or at a market stall: large leaves in the shop window, small ones on the counter – your autumn promotion is set up in minutes and lasts the whole season.
Good to know about the maple leaf
What does a maple leaf look like? Typical are the pointed lobes that make the sugar maple leaf so unmistakable – since 1965, this shape has adorned the Canadian national flag as the red Maple Leaf. That's why the Canadian wooden maple leaf suits not only autumn decorations, but also Canada evenings, themed parties and as a reminder of your own trip to Canada.

Frequently asked questions
Is the red glaze suitable for children? Yes, it meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3. This means the leaves are also suitable for crafting with children.
Can I paint or write on the back? Yes, the back is natural and untreated and takes paints, pens and glue well.
Why does every leaf look slightly different? Wood is a natural material: brightness, grain and small knots vary from leaf to leaf – that's not a flaw, it makes every piece unique.
Where does the brown edge come from? The leaves are laser-cut, which creates the typical dark edge that further emphasises the maple leaf shape.
In the end, it's not about a piece of plywood. It's about the moment your guests come to the table and autumn is already there – without any wilted leaves. Simply choose your size and quantity, and the season will take care of the rest.
