The Easter tree is on the table and the first twigs are sprouting. Now all that's missing is something to hang on it that adds warmth. These wooden Easter eggs in a rich rum tone hang on your Easter tree, on branches and at the window. They are made for your Easter decorations. Thanks to the hanging hole, you can hang them up in a few minutes. The room instantly feels like spring.

What changes for you

  • Your Easter tree is decorated in minutes. Every egg has a ready-made hanging hole 3 mm in diameter, so you only need to thread a ribbon through.
  • You decorate with the same eggs year after year instead of buying new ones. That's thanks to durable birch plywood. It won't break where painted eggs would have broken long ago.
  • Your decorations look warm and natural rather than garish. The water-based rum-coloured lacquer lets the wood grain show through.
  • You'll find the right size for every idea. Choose from a delicate 3 cm egg for your Easter tree up to a 50 cm egg for a shop window, in 1 cm steps.
  • You can hang the eggs freely in the room. They are lacquered on both sides and look just as good from either side.

Why these wooden Easter eggs make a difference in everyday life

Easter decorating should be fun, not work. You don't have to blow out fragile eggs every year or replace broken decorations. Simply take the wooden eggs out of the box and hang them up. The warm rum tone suits almost any interior, from country style to modern flats. It creates a calm, tidy look instead of a colourful jumble.

Material & finish

Each egg is laser-cut from 3 mm birch plywood. This gives smooth edges and precise shapes. No ribbon catches on them, and they feel pleasant to touch. The water-based coloured lacquer doesn't cover the wood completely. It leaves the grain and small knots visible. Wood is a purely natural material. Every piece varies a little in shade and texture. This makes every egg one of a kind and is not a defect. The eggs are made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the Easter eggs

  • On the Easter tree in the living room: thread a ribbon through the hole and hang the egg at the end of a twig. Your Easter tree becomes the centre of the room.
  • As shrub decorations in the garden: hang them on forsythia or corkscrew hazel. Your Easter decorations welcome your guests before they reach the front door.
  • For crafting with children: you can paint or stick things onto the smooth, laser-cut surfaces. At the end, every child proudly hangs up their own egg.
  • In a café or bakery: with eggs in graduated sizes, you can decorate the counter and shop window in one consistent colour. They're quick to hang up and reusable every year.
  • For florists and market stalls: the sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 are enough for arrangements, wreaths and whole shop windows. You won't need to reorder.

Good to know about the Easter egg

For centuries, the egg has been a symbol of life and new beginnings. That's why it's still part of Easter today. A decorated Easter tree with hanging eggs is a popular custom, especially in German-speaking countries. It brings spring into the home. Wooden eggs carry on this tradition. The difference is that you can reuse them for many years.

Care & durability

There's not much to do. Simply wipe off dust with a dry or slightly damp cloth. After Easter, store the eggs in a dry place and avoid constant moisture. This keeps the wood and lacquer looking good for a long time. Your decorations are ready to use again next spring.

Frequently asked questions

Can I hang the Easter eggs outdoors? Yes, they work well as decorations on branches in the garden. As wood is a natural material, you should avoid constant moisture. Store the eggs in a dry place after the season.

How big is the hanging hole? The hole is 3 mm in diameter. Standard decorative ribbons and cords fit through easily.

Do all the eggs look exactly the same? The laser cut makes the shape precise. The wood texture underneath varies, though. The water-based lacquer lets the grain and small knots show through, so every egg is one of a kind.

Are the eggs lacquered on both sides? Yes, both sides are lacquered in the colour rum. So you can hang them freely in the room without worrying about which side faces out.

Plywood and lacquer are only the materials. What counts is the moment when your decorated Easter tree stands in the light and you realise: spring has arrived at home. Just choose your size and quantity. Ribbon and twig will do the rest.
