The disc is made from 3 mm birch plywood. It feels sturdy and pleasantly light at the same time. We lacquer the raw sheets ourselves on both sides in the shade dark oak. We then seal them with a colourless, water-based satin lacquer. This keeps the grain and knots visible, and the surface feels smooth. Every disc is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. This ensures clean, accurate cuts. Wood is a purely natural material. Variations in shade, fine textures and small knots are not flaws. They make every disc unique.
