The disc is made from 3 mm birch plywood and laser-cut. This gives smooth edges and accurate shapes, so there's no sanding needed. We lacquer the raw sheets ourselves on both sides in light walnut. Then we seal them with a colourless, satin-matt water-based lacquer. It deliberately leaves the grain and small knots visible. Wood is a natural material, so every disc varies slightly in texture and shade. That's not a flaw – it's what makes each piece unique. Made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use your wooden disc
