The disc is made of 3 mm birch plywood. It's produced in our own production in Pößneck, from laser cutting to painting. We paint the raw boards in colour on both sides ourselves. On top is a clear, water-based satin-matt lacquer. It leaves the wood grain and small knots visible. Wood is a purely natural material. Every disc varies a little in texture and shade. That's not a flaw – it's what makes your piece unique.

Good to know about birch plywood
