The disc is made of 3 mm birch plywood. It's light enough to hang up, yet keeps its shape and lasts. In our own production, we lacquer the raw boards on both sides in the shade Rum. We then seal them with a colourless, water-based satin clear lacquer. The discs are laser-cut, so the edges are smooth and the shape is accurate. Wood is a purely natural material. Variations in brightness, fine structures in the grain and small knots are part of it. This makes every disc unique and is not a defect.

How to use the disc

Good to know about birch plywood

Does every disc look the same? No, and that's intentional. Wood is a natural material with variations in brightness, fine structures and small knots. The colourless clear lacquer deliberately leaves the grain visible. Every disc is one of a kind.

How accurate are the dimensions? The discs are laser-cut, which makes them accurate with smooth edges. If you choose a height of 10 cm, the width is also 10 cm.
