We paint the raw boards on both sides in the Toskana shade ourselves, in our own production in Pößneck. We then seal them with a colourless, satin-matt water-based varnish. The varnish deliberately lets the wood grain and small knots show through. Wood is a purely natural material. Each disc varies slightly in brightness and texture. That is what makes it unique, and it is not a defect.
