The spider is made of 3 mm plywood. It is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. That's where the typical brown edge comes from, which gives the motif extra definition. The black glaze on the front is applied with care. Depending on the light, the wood grain and small knots may still show through. This makes every piece one of a kind. It isn't a flaw but part of the natural material. The back is left natural and untreated, so you can design it however you like.
