The silhouette is made of 3 mm thick plywood and is laser-cut. This gives it the typical brown edge, which forms a fine, dark outline around the motif. The front has a carefully applied black stain. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots still show through. The back is left natural. Wood is a natural material. Each piece varies slightly in shade and texture, so every car is one of a kind. It is made in our own production in Pößneck, in the heart of Thuringia.

Frequently asked questions

Is the car black on both sides? No, only the front is stained black. The back is natural and untreated. That's ideal if you want to paint it or decorate it yourself.

Can I paint the silhouette? Yes. The untreated back in particular takes paint well. It is suitable for painting, decorating and writing on.

Why does each piece look slightly different? Wood is a natural material with varying grain, shade and small knots. These features are not defects. They make every car unique.

Where does the brown edge come from? It is created during laser cutting and is typical of this cutting method. In return, the edges are smooth and the motif is accurate to size.
