Material & finish

The stars are made of 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. That's where the typical brown edge comes from. It gives each star a fine, natural contrast. The front has a carefully applied silver glaze. The back is left natural and untreated – ideal if you want to paint it or stick things on it yourself. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness, grain and small knots always vary slightly. That makes every piece unique – not a flaw, but character.

Care & durability

There's not much to do. Simply wipe off dust with a dry, soft cloth. As the back is untreated, protect the stars from wet and constant damp. That way they keep their silver shimmer for many years.
