The moons are made of 3 mm plywood and are laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. This is where the typical brown edge comes from. It gives every cutout its distinctive look. We use a good-quality silver glaze. Depending on the light, the wood grain and small knots show through the glaze. This is not a flaw but the sign of a genuine natural material. Every piece is unique. Only the front is coated. The back stays untreated and ready for your own colours.
