The driving test is passed and the envelope with the money gift is ready. Now all that's missing is a motif that shows at a glance what it's all about. This silver wooden car is made for exactly that on your congratulations card. It's a crisply laser-cut car silhouette in poplar plywood. You can stick it on, scatter it as table decoration or use it in your next craft project. That gives your idea a clear motif – no scissors or template needed.

What changes for you

  • You decorate cards, door signs and gifts with a ready-made motif instead of cutting it out yourself. Every car is laser-cut with accurate, smooth edges.
  • Your project gets exactly the right size. You can choose any width from 3 cm to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You can relax when crafting with children. The silver glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
  • You can skip the priming. The front already has a silver glaze. You can paint or decorate the untreated back.
  • You can plan bigger projects without reordering. The car is also available in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces.

Why this wooden car makes a difference day to day

A printed motif can quickly look flat. A car made of real wood has depth, feels pleasant in your hand and shows the look of natural wood. On the birthday table, on a gift or on the pinboard, it stands out without being loud. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots shimmer through the glaze. So you can see straight away that this is real natural material.

Material & finish

The car is made of 3 mm poplar plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The laser also creates the typical brown edge, which gives the silhouette a fine outline. The silver glaze on the front is carefully applied. Depending on the light, it lets the wood grain show through. The back is left natural and untreated. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness, texture and small knots vary from piece to piece. This makes every car one of a kind – it is not a defect.

How to use the wooden car

  • For a passed driving test: stick the silver car on the congratulations card. Or use it when making a money gift to hold the contribution towards the first car. The gift shows straight away what it's about.
  • On the birthday table: scatter small cars as table decoration between plates and candles. The party theme is clear at first glance.
  • Crafting with children: the natural back is ready for painting and decorating. Every child designs their own car and proudly takes it home.
  • On the children's bedroom door: as a motif on the door sign, the car shows from the hallway who lives here.
  • In business: whether you run a driving school, a car dealership or a garage, the sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces let you decorate your counter, shop window or customer gifts in a uniform look and consistent quality.

Good to know about the car motif

Silver and grey have been among the most popular paint colours on German roads for many years. That's why this motif feels so familiar. It's especially suited to occasions around driving: a passed driving test, a first car of your own, or as decoration wherever everything revolves around cars.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Keep the car dry and protect it from constant moisture – as a natural material, wood doesn't like getting wet. That way the glaze and wood keep their look for a long time. And you can still enjoy it at the next occasion.

Options & what's included

  • Choose any width: 3 cm to 50 cm in 1 cm steps
  • Available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100
  • Every car: front with silver glaze, back left natural

Frequently asked questions

Is the car suitable for crafting with children? Yes. The silver glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.

Are both sides silver? No, only the front is glazed. The back is left natural and untreated – ideal for painting or decorating.

Why does the car have a brown edge? The motif is laser-cut. The brown edge is a typical result of this and gives the silhouette a clearly defined outline.

How tall is the car at the width I choose? The proportions stay the same: at a width of 10 cm, the height is 4.1 cm. From this you can easily work out other sizes.

Do all cars look exactly the same? The shape is accurate to size, but the wood underneath is a natural material. Grain, brightness and small knots vary slightly and make every piece one of a kind.

What really counts is the moment the newly qualified driver unwraps her money gift. She smiles straight away, because the little silver car says it all. Just choose your width and quantity. You design the rest.
