The snowboarder is laser-cut from 3 mm thick high-density fibreboard (HDF/MDF). This gives smooth edges and a clean finish you can work on straight away. The board is untreated, neither varnished nor glazed. Paints, glue and pens adhere well, and you decide on the finish yourself. HDF is made from pressed wood fibres. So the fibres vary in shade and may show small irregularities. This is not a flaw – it makes every piece one of a kind. The cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. We make it after you order, in the size you choose.

Can I paint the snowboarder or glue things onto it? Yes. The MDF surface is untreated and can be painted, glued on or coated – just right for crafting and decorating.
