The invitations for the passed exam are on the table. But the motif that shows straight away what it's all about is still missing. This cardboard syringe is made for exactly that. It is a clear cutout for crafting and painting. It gives a plain card, a garland or a doctor's surgery display the right motif. Whether you want to make a syringe for a vaccination card, a medical-themed party or decorations in a surgery – the blank gives you the shape, and you design the rest.

What changes for you

  • You save yourself the fiddly job of cutting out by hand. The syringe is already cleanly laser-cut, so you can start decorating straight away.
  • Your cards and decorations look consistent and neat. The smooth surface takes paint, glue and varnish evenly.
  • You'll find the right size for every project. Choose a width from 5 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps – from a small card motif to a large cutout for a shop window.
  • Your motif keeps its shape while you craft. The solid 1.2 mm board doesn't warp or crease like thin paper.
  • You can craft with a clear conscience. The bookbinding board is made from 100 % recycled material.

Why this cardboard syringe makes a difference in everyday use

A ready-made cutout takes care of the hardest part for you: a clean shape. You don't need to draw, cut or touch anything up. Instead, you start where crafting is fun – choosing colours and decorating. Whether on your own at the kitchen table or crafting with children: the result looks just the way you imagined it.

Material & finish

The syringe is made from solid bookbinding-quality board. Bookbinders have always used this material for sturdy covers. At 1.2 mm thick and 755 g/m², it feels pleasantly firm in your hand. Even larger sizes hold up without bending. The surface is smooth and untreated. It takes paint, glue and varnish well and leaves you free to design as you like. The brown edges come from the laser cutting and give the cutout its typical handmade look. Every syringe is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia – with clean, careful finishing.

How to use the cardboard syringe

  • For a passed exam in medicine or nursing: stick a small syringe on the congratulations card. The card shows straight away what the graduate has worked towards for so long.
  • In a doctor's surgery or care setting: use it as decoration on vaccinations or injections at reception or on the noticeboard. Patients recognise the motif at first glance.
  • Crafting with children: each child paints their own syringe. At the end, a colourful garland for the doctor-themed party hangs in the room.
  • For a birthday, party or celebration with a medical theme: use large cutouts up to 50 cm as wall decoration or photo props. The room has a theme without you having to set up much.
  • As window and shop decoration in a pharmacy or surgery: set them up in several graduated sizes. This quickly creates a uniform display for vaccination season.

Good to know about the syringe

Hardly any symbol stands for medicine and care as clearly as the syringe. It instantly brings to mind doctors' surgeries, vaccinations and healthcare professions. That's why the motif works so well on cards for a passed exam, as decoration for a new practice opening or at any celebration around medical careers. It needs no explanation – everyone understands it at first glance.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. Simply store the untreated board somewhere dry and protect it from lasting damp. Then it keeps its shape and its smooth surface. With paint or varnish, you can decorate it and make it more resistant at the same time.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paint the syringe or stick things on it? Yes. The solid bookbinding-quality board can be covered, painted or varnished. The smooth surface takes paint evenly.

How tall is the syringe at a given width? The height depends on the width you choose: at 10 cm wide, the height is 4 cm. Larger widths scale in the same proportion.

Is the board treated? No, the cutout is untreated. So you can decide freely whether to leave it natural or decorate it in colour.

Where does the cutout come from? Every syringe is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. It is made from bookbinding board consisting of 100 % recycled material.

Why are the edges brown? The brown edges come from laser cutting the shape. They are part of the typical look of the cutout.

A cardboard cutout is only the starting point. What counts is the moment the exam card arrives and brings a smile straight away. Someone took the time to make something themselves. Simply choose your size and quantity – the rest happens at your craft table.
