Material & finish

Every star is made in our own production in Pößneck from 3 mm birch plywood. The cutouts are laser cut. This gives smooth edges and a clean, accurate finish that won't get in your way, even when crafting with children. We lacquer the raw boards yellow on both sides ourselves. The clear, satin-matt water-based lacquer lets the wood grain and knots show through. Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, fine textures and small knots are normal. This is what makes every star unique, and it is not a defect.

How to use your wooden star
