We lacquer the raw sheets ourselves on both sides in the colour Rum, in our own production in Pößneck. The clear, satin-matt water-based lacquer lets the grain and knots show through. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness and texture vary slightly, and small knots are normal. This is exactly what makes every star one of a kind – it is not a defect.
