We paint the raw sheets in colour on both sides ourselves, in our own production in Pößneck. On top is a clear, satin, water-based lacquer that keeps the wood grain visible. Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, fine textures and small knots are normal. They are not a flaw. They are what makes every piece unique.
