Material & finish

The star is made from 3 mm birch plywood in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. We lacquer the raw boards dark green on both sides ourselves. On top is a clear, satin, water-based lacquer that lets the grain show through. Laser cutting gives clean, precise edges. You can use the star straight away, stick things on it or hang it up. Wood is a purely natural material. Variations in shade, fine textures and small knots are normal and make each piece unique. That's not a flaw, it's character.
