Material & finish

The star is made in our own production in Pößneck. We paint the raw 3 mm birch plywood sheets ourselves on both sides in the mahogany shade. On top is a clear, water-based satin-matt varnish. It lets the wood grain and small knots show through. The surface feels smooth with a slight grip and looks like real wood, not plastic. Laser cutting gives smooth edges and accurate dimensions, so you can keep crafting neatly. Wood is a purely natural material. Variations in shade, texture and small inclusions are not flaws. They make every piece unique.
