At Bütic, we lacquer the raw sheets in mint green on both sides ourselves. An additional clear, water-based, satin-matt lacquer protects the surface. At the same time, it keeps the wood grain and knots visible. These natural differences in shade and texture are not a flaw. They make every star unique. Everything is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Are the stars lacquered on both sides? Yes. Every star is lacquered mint green on both sides and also sealed with a clear, water-based, satin-matt lacquer. This makes it ideal for freely hanging decorations.

Why do the stars look slightly different? Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, grain and small knots are normal and make every piece unique.

How does the height relate to the chosen width? The height is slightly less than the width. At a width of 10 cm, the star measures approx. 9.5 cm in height.
