The star is laser-cut from 3 mm birch plywood. It is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. We varnish the raw boards ourselves on both sides in dark walnut. The clear, satin, water-based varnish lets the wood grain and small knots show through. Wood is a purely natural material. Each piece varies slightly in shade and texture. This isn't a flaw – it's what makes your star one of a kind. The laser-cut edges are smooth and clean, so you can use the cutout straight away.

Do all the stars look exactly the same? No – wood is a natural material. The grain, shade and small knots vary slightly, so every star is one of a kind. The shape and dimensions, however, are precise thanks to laser cutting.

Is the star varnished on both sides? Yes. Both sides are coloured in dark walnut and finished with a clear, satin, water-based varnish. This is ideal for hanging decorations and window decorations that are seen from both sides.

How does the width relate to the height? With a chosen width of 10 cm, the height is approx. 9.5 cm. Other sizes are in proportion.
