Material & finish

The Super Bunny is laser-cut from 3 mm high-density fibreboard (HDF/MDF). This gives clean, smooth edges and an even shape. The surface is left natural, not painted or glazed. It takes paint and glue well. HDF is made from pressed wood fibres, so every board turns out slightly different. The fibres vary in shade and may show small irregularities. This is not a defect. It makes every piece one of a kind. The cutout is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia.

Is the Super Bunny already painted? No, the cutout comes to you untreated and in its natural state. You can paint it, cover it or decorate it however you like.

Do I have to draw the outlines myself? No, the face and details are already engraved. They serve as your template when painting.

Can I use the bunny outdoors too? The board is untreated and is therefore intended for dry indoor spaces. For windows facing outside or sheltered outdoor areas, paint or varnish it first. Protect it from constant moisture.
