The Easter eggs are made of 3 mm plywood. They are laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. That is where the smooth, precise edges and the characteristic brown rim come from. The front has a carefully applied turquoise stain. Depending on the light, you can still see the grain and knots through it. The back stays natural and untreated. Wood is a purely natural material. Differences in shade, fine textures and small knots are normal. This is exactly what makes every piece unique.
