What changes for you
- You can start crafting straight away, without sawing or sanding. The star is laser-cut and has smooth, precise edges.
- You can craft with children without worry about the finish. The turquoise stain meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
- Your decorations look lively rather than uniform. Depending on the light, the stain lets the wood grain show through. Each star is one of a kind.
- You'll find the right size for every idea. You can choose any width from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
- You have enough stars for bigger projects. The star is available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.
Why this wooden star makes a difference every day
Shop-bought decorations often look generic. A star you've designed yourself from real wood says something about you. The bold turquoise makes the star stand out in the window, on the Advent wreath or on a present. The untreated plywood on the back shows the natural grain of the wood. And because the cutout is already finished, you go straight from idea to result. No tools or sawdust get in the way.
Material & finish
The star is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. That gives it smooth edges and the typical brown edge, which outlines the shape finely. The front has a turquoise stain. The back is left natural and untreated – ideal if you want to paint or write on it yourself. Wood is a purely natural material. Variations in shade, fine textures and small knots are part of it and make every star unique. That's a feature, not a flaw. Every cutout is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use your wooden star
- Christmas crafts with children: each child decorates their own star with pens or glitter. In the end, a little gallery hangs in the window, and everyone is proud of it.
- Making an Advent calendar: number 24 small stars as hanging tags. This gives you a homemade calendar with a matching design throughout.
- On Christmas cards and presents: stick on or tie on a small star – and a plain parcel becomes a lovingly wrapped gift.
- For gifts of money: fold the notes and attach them to the star. Your gift feels personal rather than plain.
- In a café, bakery or at a market stall: with a set of 25 or 50 stars, you can decorate your counter and shop window in a consistent look. It's quick to set up and reusable all season long.
Good to know about the star
The star is one of the oldest Christmas symbols of all. It recalls the Star of Bethlehem, which is said to have shown the way to the manger. So the design suits more than Christmas decorations on the tree and in the window. It also works for nativity plays, Advent bazaars and Christmas shop displays.
Care & durability
There's not much you need to do. Store the star somewhere dry and simply wipe off dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid prolonged moisture, as the back is untreated. That way, the colour and wood will stay looking good for many years and Advent seasons.
