Not sure which to choose? With a Bütic gift voucher you can never get it wrong.Spring is just around the corner, but the windowsill still looks bare. And you're looking for a splash of colour that doesn't look like plastic. This purple wooden dragonfly does exactly that: a piece of nature in a strong colour, made for your spring decorations. On the window, on a door wreath or as a craft project with children – the dragonfly fits in without being too loud.
What changes for you
- Your window, wreath or table instantly looks like spring. The dragonfly is laser-cut and finished in rich purple. Its typical brown edge gives it a distinctive look.
- You'll find the right size for every idea – with wingspans from 3 cm to 50 cm, selectable in 1 cm steps.
- Suitable for crafting with children – the purple glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
- You can design it to suit your taste. The back is left natural and untreated. So you can paint it, stick things on it or simply leave it as it is.
- No reworking needed. Smooth laser-cut edges and precise cutting mean each dragonfly is ready to use straight away.
Why this wooden dragonfly makes a difference every day
Decorations made from natural materials change the mood in a room. Instead of shiny mass-produced goods, you hold a piece of wood with visible texture. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots show through the purple glaze. So every dragonfly looks alive and a little different. On the window, in a door wreath or on the festive table: the result looks lovingly handmade, not bought off the shelf.
Material & finish
Each dragonfly is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives smooth edges, precise contours and the characteristic brown edge that gives the motif depth. The front has a carefully applied purple glaze. Depending on the light, the natural wood grain still shows through. The back remains untreated. Every piece is made in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. Wood is a purely natural product: differences in shade, fine textures and small knots are normal. They make every dragonfly unique and are not a defect.

- Spring cleaning the windows: hang up a few dragonflies in different sizes – and the view outside instantly feels lighter.
- Crafting with children at school, nursery or at home: the untreated back is perfect for painting. And at the end, every child takes home their own little work of art.
- On the table for a birthday or garden party: a small dragonfly at each place – and your guests have something to discover before the first course.
- On the door wreath: the strong purple stands out among branches and flowers. It brings a spring feel right to your front door.
- In cafés, bakeries or shops: as part of your seasonal window and counter decoration. With sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100 pieces, decorating is quick and looks uniform.
Good to know about the dragonfly
The dragonfly has long been a symbol of lightness and change. In Japan it is traditionally even revered as a bringer of luck. That's why the motif suits more than spring and summer decorations. It also makes a small gift for occasions that celebrate a new beginning.
Care & durability
There's not much to do: simply remove dust with a dry, soft cloth. As the back is untreated, protect the dragonfly from constant moisture. That way it keeps its strong colour and smooth surface for a long time.
