Bird pair in heart wall art – engraved wooden window hanging

You look out of the window in the morning and the sun shines in. On the glass hangs a small motif that catches your eye each time. That's exactly what this wooden window hanging is made for. A pair of birds sits in a heart framed by blossoms. It seems made for your favourite window. Hang it in the window or as wall art in the hallway. Either way, it brings a bird pair in a heart of blossoms into your home.

What changes for you

• Your window shows the motif from both sides. It's laser-engraved on both sides, so it stays visible from outside too.
• You can hang it up in seconds, with no tools and no drilling. It has a hole for hanging.
• You can move it around. Today in the window, tomorrow on the wall. A thread or a hook is all you need, and the motif works in both places.
• You're holding a genuine one-of-a-kind piece. Poplar plywood is a natural material, so the grain and shade always vary a little.
• You give a gift with meaning rather than something random. The bird pair in the heart of blossoms speaks of affection without a single word.

Why this window hanging makes a difference every day

A bare window is easily overlooked. With a small wooden motif, it becomes a place your eye likes to rest on. The natural wood brings calm to the room without being intrusive. It suits almost any interior style. So in one simple step you add a cosy touch you see every day.

Material & finish

The window hanging is made from poplar plywood. This natural material is light and pleasant to the touch, and it doesn't look heavy in the window. All cuts are cleanly lasered. The motif is engraved on both sides, so you can see it from either direction. Wood is a purely natural product. Every board has its own shade. Small knots or slight irregularities in the grain are part of it. That's why the engravings on the two sides almost always differ slightly in shade. This makes every piece one of a kind. Bütic makes the window hanging in our own production in Pößneck – made in Germany.

• As a small gift for a wedding, engagement or anniversary: instead of a card, you give a wooden motif. Years later, it still hangs in the couple's window.
• As wall art in the bedroom or hallway: a nail or hook is all you need. The engraved wooden motif then fills that bare spot on the wall.
• In a café, florist's or on the wedding table: the heart of blossoms hangs in shop windows and displays. It's quick to hang up, with no big set-up.

Good to know about the bird pair

Bird pairs have long been a symbol of love and faithfulness, above all the proverbial lovebirds. That's because many bird species stay together for life. So the motif is a good fit for weddings, engagements and anniversaries. It also works as a small gift for someone close to your heart.

Care & durability

There's not much to do. Simply dust it now and then with a dry, soft cloth. Keep the wood away from constant moisture. Then the window hanging keeps its natural look for many years.
