The first warm days are here and the window is open. But you're still missing a motif that brings spring into your home. This wine-red wooden dragonfly brings exactly that lightness. It's a delicate motif in warm wine red, made for your window decorations and your craft table. Stand one up on its own or scatter a set. You decide how much spring you'd like.

What changes for you

  • You have spring decorations for your window, wreath or table straight away. The dragonfly arrives in the size you need, from 3 to 50 cm wingspan, so there's nothing to cut.
  • Your craft project turns out neat with no extra finishing. That's thanks to the smooth laser-cut edges and the accurate shape.
  • You can use the dragonfly with children too. The wine-red stain meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
  • You keep full creative freedom. The back is left natural, so you can paint it, write on it or stick things to it.
  • You can plan bigger projects without piecing orders together. The dragonfly is available singly or in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.

Why this wooden dragonfly makes a difference every day

Decorations look best when they feel light and natural. That's exactly what the dragonfly offers. The warm wine red is a restrained colour that never feels overpowering. The natural wood feels smooth and light in your hand. So the dragonfly looks like it belongs at the window, on the table or on the wall. It doesn't look mass-produced.

Material & finish

The dragonfly is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical brown edge. The edge frames the motif and is part of how the cutout looks. The wine-red stain is applied with care. Depending on the light, the wood grain and small knots still show through. These very textures make every piece unique. Wood is a purely natural material. Its shade varies and it's never completely even. That's not a flaw – it's part of its appeal. Only the front is stained. The back is left natural and untreated. Every dragonfly is made in our own production at Bütic in Pößneck, Thuringia.

How to use the wooden dragonfly

  • In the spring window: Hang up a few dragonflies in different sizes. The view outside instantly feels lighter and friendlier.
  • Crafting with children: Let them paint the natural back. Each child designs their own dragonfly. You get a relaxed craft session with no cutting.
  • On the coffee table: Scatter small dragonflies between plates and napkins. Your guests will spot the details before the cake even reaches the table.
  • As wall decoration: A large cutout up to 50 cm hangs straight on the wall in the hallway or children's room. No frame, no fuss.
  • In a café or at a market stall: With sets of 10 or more, you can decorate your counter, shop window or tables in a uniform look. They're quick to set up and easy to swap with the seasons.
  • On a wreath or arrangement: Add a dragonfly, and the spring decoration on your front door gets a spot of colour.

Good to know about the dragonfly

Dragonflies have long been seen as messengers of summer. In many cultures they stand for lightness and change. That's why the motif suits spring and summer decorations so well. It announces the bright season long before the first real dragonflies dance over the water.
