The windows are clean and it's slowly turning green outside. But something small is still missing to bring spring into your home. A white wooden dragonfly brings that lightness. Hang it in the window, add it to your door wreath or use it as table scatter. It's made for your spring decorations. Simply choose the size you need, from 3 to 50 cm. You can order it singly or as a set.

What changes for you

  • Your windows and wreaths look like spring straight away, without lots of crafting. That's because the dragonfly comes ready laser-cut, with the front already stained white.
  • You'll find the right size for every idea, from delicate table scatter to a large wall motif. Wingspans range from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • You can also use the dragonfly for crafting with children. The stain meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
  • You're free to design it your way. The natural back can be painted, decorated or have things stuck on, just as you like.
  • Planning larger projects or shop window displays is easy. You can also order the dragonfly in sets of 10, 25, 50 or 100.

Why this white wooden dragonfly makes a difference every day

Ready-made plastic decorations often look interchangeable. A motif made from real wood brings calm and a natural feel to a room. Depending on the light, the grain still shows through the white surface. So each dragonfly looks lively rather than smooth and generic. With just a few steps, you create decorations that suit your home and don't look mass-produced.

Material & finish

The dragonfly is made from 3 mm plywood and laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck, Thuringia. The edges are smooth and the cut is precise. The typical brown edge gives the motif a fine outline. The white stain on the front is applied with care. Depending on the light, you can see the wood grain and small knots. The back is left natural and untreated. Wood is a purely natural material. Brightness, texture and small knots vary from piece to piece. This makes each dragonfly one of a kind and is not a defect.

How to use the white dragonfly

  • As spring window decor: Hang up a few dragonflies in different sizes. The view outside instantly feels light and summery.
  • On a door wreath or garland: Attach single motifs between twigs and flowers. The white wood makes the wreath look light and airy.
  • For crafting with children: The natural back can be painted or decorated. At the end, every child takes home their own little work of art.
  • As table scatter for a spring table: Spread small sizes between plates and napkins. Your guests will spot the first details as they sit down.
  • In a café, florist's or at a market stall: With a set of 25, 50 or 100, you can redecorate your counter and shop window for the season. It's quick to set up. Every size looks uniform, because all motifs are laser-cut precisely to size.

Good to know about the dragonfly

In many cultures, the dragonfly is a symbol of lightness, change and the start of the warm season. Hardly any other creature stands so much for sunny days by the water. That's why the motif suits spring and summer decor, garden parties and anything that invites you outdoors.

Care & durability

There's not much you need to do. An occasional dry dusting is enough to keep the white surface looking fresh for a long time. As the back is untreated, it's best to keep the dragonfly away from constant moisture. This way the wood keeps its shape and looks good.

Frequently asked questions

Is the glaze safe when children craft with the dragonfly? Yes, the glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.

Can I paint the dragonfly myself? Yes, the back is natural and untreated. It's easy to paint, decorate or stick things on.

Why can I see the grain through the white colour on some dragonflies? That's intentional. Depending on the light, the stain lets the grain and small knots show through. Wood is a natural material, and that's what makes each piece one of a kind.

How tall is the dragonfly for a given wingspan? Height and wingspan are the same. With a 10 cm wingspan, the dragonfly is also 10 cm tall.

Where does the brown edge come from? It's created during laser cutting and is part of the motif. The edges are cut smooth and precisely to size.

This wooden cutout brings spring into your home. Use it in the window, on a wreath or on the laid table. Simply choose your size and quantity. The dragonfly does the rest.
