The windows are clean, the fir branch is ready. Now your winter decoration just needs the final detail. A white 8-point wooden star fits quietly into any winter decoration. It doesn't overpower anything else. Small on a gift or as a large 50 cm wooden star in a shop window: this star is made for your favourite corner.

What changes for you

  • You can decorate anything from tiny spots to whole rooms. You choose the width freely from 3 to 50 cm in 1 cm steps.
  • Your window, branch or table looks wintry straight away. The front is white-glazed, and the wood grain still shows through depending on the light.
  • You can also craft with children. The glaze meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3.
  • You can design the star your way. The natural back can be painted, written on or decorated with stickers.
  • You save yourself the hard work of sawing. Every star arrives laser-cut, accurate to size and with smooth edges.

Why this 8-point star makes a difference in everyday life

Decoration looks best when it stays calm and natural. The white wooden star blends in quietly instead of dominating. Use it in the window, above the dining table or on the shop counter. Guests and customers notice the calm of the decoration without having to think about it.

Material & finish

The star is laser-cut from 3 mm plywood. This gives it the typical fine brown edge, a sign of this production method. The white glaze is applied with care. Depending on the light, the grain and small knots show through. That is exactly what makes each piece unique. Only the front is glazed. The back stays natural and untreated, ideal for your own designs. Every star is made in our own production in Pößneck, in the heart of Thuringia.

  • In the Advent window: hang several sizes at different heights – and your home looks inviting from outside straight away.
  • Crafting with children: paint the back, write a name on it – and every child proudly takes their own creation home.
  • In a café or bakery: stars above the counter or on the shop window. Your goods are framed festively, and setting up takes only minutes.
  • For market and shop decoration: with the sets of 10 or more, you can decorate larger areas uniformly. You won't need to reorder single stars.

Good to know about the 8-point star

The eight-pointed star has a long history in Christian tradition. Many depictions show the Star of Bethlehem with eight points. That is why this shape suits Advent and Christmas so well – from Christmas tree ornaments to nativity decorations.

Care & durability

There isn't much you need to do. Store the stars in a dry place and keep them away from lasting moisture. This keeps the glaze and wood looking good for a long time. You'll enjoy your decoration for many years.

Frequently asked questions

Is the white glaze suitable for crafting with children? Yes, it meets the requirements of DIN EN 71-3. It is also suitable for crafting with children.

Is the star white on both sides? No, only the front is glazed. The back is natural and untreated.

Can I paint the star myself? Yes. The untreated back in particular takes paint well, and you can design it your way.

Where does the brown edge come from? The star is laser-cut. The dark edge is typical of this cutting method and also gives smooth, accurate edges.

Why can I see grain or small knots? Wood is a purely natural material with varying structures and shades. That is exactly what makes every star unique.

A wood cutout is only the start. What matters is the moment you switch on the light in the evening. Your window full of stars then looks clear and calm, from inside and outside. Just choose your size – or a set straight away – and get started.
