Material & finish

The letters are made of green PLEXIGLAS^® with a material thickness of approx. 3 mm. They are sturdy enough for drilling and gluing, yet pleasantly light on the wall. Each character is laser-cut in our own production in Pößneck. This gives smooth, clean outlines. Several letters side by side show a consistent typeface.

• Some capital letters have “flourishes” that extend beyond the selectable heights

Good to know about PLEXIGLAS^®

PLEXIGLAS^® is actually a brand name for acrylic glass, developed in Germany in the 1930s. The material is much lighter than glass and more break-resistant. That's exactly why these letters work so well for wall mounting, shop windows and places where things sometimes get knocked.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my lower-case letter shorter than the size I chose? The height you choose applies to the capital letters. Lower-case letters are made to the same scale, just as they are designed in the typeface. So a small a is shorter than a capital O. Order all the letters for a word in the same size. Then they match exactly.

Can I glue or drill the letters? Yes, both are possible. You can glue and drill the characters and use them for any kind of decoration.

Are the letters available in other colours? Yes. Besides green, we offer them in white, black, light grey, cream, yellow, orange, red, light blue and dark blue. Numbers and special characters are also available in these colours.

Do I get a finished word or individual letters? Each letter is separate. So you put your lettering together freely and can add to it at any time later.
