The letters are made of red PLEXIGLAS^® approx. 3 mm thick. That's sturdy enough for drilling and gluing, yet pleasantly light on the wall. Every character is laser-cut in Bütic's own production in Pößneck, with cleanly cut edges all round. Part of the typeface: some capital letters of the MT script have flourishes that extend beyond the chosen height. This keeps the lettering lively and is not a defect.

Frequently asked questions

How tall are the lower case letters? The chosen height applies to the capital letters. Lower case letters are smaller in proportion to the typeface. In script fonts like this one, they are often a little smaller than in upright fonts.

Can I glue or drill the letters? Yes, both are possible. The approx. 3 mm thick acrylic glass is suitable for gluing, drilling and all kinds of decoration.

Why do some letters extend beyond the chosen height? Some capital letters have flourishes that go beyond the selectable height. This is part of the typeface of this flowing script.
